Relaxed and informal, documentary style wedding photography in Staffordshire & Derbyshire.
I photograph people who love the bones of one another ....... it really is as simple as that.
In brief ....
I document your day in a really relaxed manner.
You two crazy cats enjoy yourselves.
I constantly photograph as we go along, capturing all the tears, laughter, dance floor knee slides and odd dance moves.
I don't overly pose you or your guests.
The day flows.
One of my favourite parts of the day. We basically hang out but I don't have any of the Champagne!
I photograph the outfits, shoes, jewellery and any quirky bits that take my interest.
I try and capture the excitement and nerves that are whizzing around but without being a pain in the ass. This part of the day is captured in a documentary style. A style that I love!
I then move on to photos of make up and hair being finished and your gal pals helping you into your dress before hot footing it to your soon to be husband/wife (if time allows - remember folks I don't have a flying machine!).
Phew I'm here. Time is ticking away and it's your other half's turn to rock their time with me. We usually have a good laugh and 9 out of 10 times I help you with your buttonholes!
If time allows I photograph the arrival of your guests and the ceremony prepped and ready for your nuptials.
My absolute favourite shot is not the pretend signing of the register or the readings BUT the exit of the newlyweds. Ain't no forcing those smiles. I usually have to slow you down as you trot back up the aisle grinning away to your loved ones.
We then get our group photos done & I then spend quality time with you whilst your guests grab a drink.
I like us to have a sneak preview of your room set up and a mock cake cut photograph. Usually I photograph the speeches and the tears & make myself scarce whilst you eat. At this point I'm changing batteries & swapping cards. If you feed me I'll be even happier .... a sandwich and packet of crisps is all I need to help me carry on for another 5 hours. 12 hours can be a long time with no food.
Evening guests may start to arrive shortly after. Then I will be ready to photograph you gorgeous things tearing up the dance floor.
I then stay for a few more songs, pinch a sausage roll from your buffet have a dance with tipsy people and take more photographs.

A beautiful wedding featuring home made fudge (which tasted amazing) and Whisky themed centrepieces.
If you book me to photograph your special day we will be together for a long time. Longer than any other creative supplier.
That's why I never take a booking without us meeting up and having a chat. Yeah I know, I'm old school!
We and I say WE need to gel and work together to create memories that will last forever. Over a cup of tea I can listen to your plans and you can look through my images. If I'm YOUR photographer, we then complete a contract and you pay your deposit to secure me for your wedding.
It really is as simple as that.
Want me? Drop me an email with your date and we can get together for a chinwag.
